Edson Abadia Sr.

Director of Business Development

At B&B, Edson Sr. serves as the Director of Business Development and attends community events, networking meet-ups, and other activities to engage with the clients of B&B. Edson Sr. was an educator for 27 years, working with Volusia County Schools System. During his tenure, he taught all grades and subjects 1st-8th grade, including Drop Out Prevention. Over the past 20 years, Edson has been involved in the competitive soccer community with local youth clubs and at Spruce Creek High School from 2002-2022. He served as the Director of Coaching and Player Development, allowing him to work with coaches from various backgrounds and players of all ages and abilities. Edson was recognized as Volusia County Teacher of the Year in 2003 and the News-Journal Coach of the Year on three occasions. In these various community roles, Edson Sr. developed business skills, client relations, and organizational planning and operations. He has a passion for public speaking and appreciates every chance he gets to meet someone new and connect.
