Discrimination & Harassment
Federal and Florida State laws prohibit discrimination on the basis of certain “protected characteristics” — including race, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation and gender identity, genetic information and other characteristics. The law also prohibits harassment on the basis of any of these characteristics, such as sexual harassment, racial harassment, national-origin harassment, and disability harassment, among others.
We handle the defense of discrimination and harassment claims before all Florida federal and state courts, as well as relevant administrative agencies. We have also tried many cases before juries on a wide variety of discrimination and harassment claims.
